Prepare each feed as close as possible to feeding. Store in the fridge for up to 12 hours. Do not use prepared formula that has been stored for longer than 12 hours.
Sterilise all utensils by using an approved steriliser or by boiling in water for 5 minutes.
Before feeding make sure the prepared formula is not too hot by testing it on your wrist. Always discard any unfinished formula.
Boil clean drinking water and allow to cool to approximately 70 C
Wash your hands with hot water before preparing formula. Pour the required amount of cooled boiled water into the sterilised bottle.
Use the enclosed scoop to add the required amount of Karilac formula to the bottle of water. Use a sterilised utensil to level off each scoop of formula.
Note: This is a general guide only for the preparation of Karilac Infant Formula and your baby may require more or less. If unsure consult a health professional for advice.
Add one level scoop of Karilac powder per 50ml of water. Stir or shake until the powder is completely dissolved.
